The scene: Class. The scheduled meeting time is 5:50-8:30

The day’s agenda: Three problems and a viewing of selected scenes from the legal classic, “The Verdict”

The Facts: Class started at 5:50. The professor began discussing the first of three problems. There is an attendance policy.

The Issue: It is 8:42pm. We just finished the second of three problems. And the professor has announced we are going to get through the rest of the Agenda.

The nagging problem: I skipped out after the first 70 minutes of the first class of the semester
