Snow is patient, snow is kind

For those of you not currently digging yourself out of the white stuff in Chicago, we got a foot of snow in about the last 12 hours. A foot of snow means several things: 1) the side streets in Chicago are not safe for man nor beast nor 2-Wheel-Drive SUVs, 2) my windshield whippers and window defrosting system will cease to function normally 3) Al Gore can stick his nobel prize up his globally warmed ass and 4) driving a friend to the airport at 6am will take two hours each way.

The cool thing about driving in conditions such as this is that by the time the car begins to fishtail into the path of the semi in the adjacent lane, it doesn't phase you because you made your peace with God as soon as you started driving.
