Questions from the course

A group of us went golfing in a less than stellar area of the city this afternoon. The following hypothetical was posed amongst us:

  • You are on hole #7, 165 Yards to the Hole, edge of the fairway, second shot.
  • The green is above your current location with a stiff breeze going diagonally across the hole.
  • Two thugs savory gentleman appear from the nearby woods and head towards your general direction with malice in their eye.
Three questions:
  1. What club do you use to best defend yourself?
  2. Does striking your assailant count as a stroke?
  3. Will your slice come into play?
