Witty comments and jokes do not read well on deposition transcripts. This does not suite my personality well. I just can't help making a joke here or attempting witticisms there. I have to bite my tongue. Partners just don't want to read a transcript with my lame joke attempts:
BY MR. PAMBY: So a guy walks into a bar, the next one ducks...
WHEREUPON THERE WAS SILENCE
By MR. PAMBY: Not even a giggle? Really?
WHEREUPON THERE WAS MORE AWKWARD SILENCE
By MR. OPPOSING COUNSEL: Objection, Asked and Answered.And as such, depositions are humorless affairs, unless you spend two hours talking about poop.
By Mr. PAMBY: Fuck... I have nothing further
